Product Introduction

Black steel crimped wire mesh, also known as black iron crimped mesh or mining screen mesh, is made of black cold-drawn steel wire, 45# carbon steel wire and 65 manganese black steel wire. It is manufactured by the crimp-first-then-weave interlocking process. Warp and weft wires are pre-crimped into wave shapes and interlocked with each other to form fixed uniform mesh openings. Featuring high hardness, excellent wear resistance and tensile strength as well as outstanding cost performance, it can be produced in full rolls, cut sheets and welded frames with customizable wire diameter, aperture and width. It is an economical general metal screen widely used in mine screening, industrial protection, livestock breeding and grain storage.

Main Raw Material Types

Ordinary Black Cold-drawn Wire Crimped Mesh: Low-carbon black iron wire with the lowest cost and moderate toughness, suitable for dry indoor protection, grain warehouse ventilation and standard breeding cages.

45# Carbon Steel Crimped Mesh: Medium carbon steel wire with balanced hardness and wear resistance, the mainstream general type for vibrating screens, sand-stone classification and workshop isolation.

65 Manganese Black Steel Crimped Mesh: High-carbon manganese steel wire with ultra-high hardness and impact resistance, specially for heavy-duty vibrating screening in mines and coal mines, resistant to wire breakage under material impact.

Galvanized Black Steel Crimped Mesh (Post-treatment): The woven black steel mesh is hot-dip galvanized or electro-galvanized to enhance rust resistance, fit for outdoor and humid open-air working environments.

Production Technology

All products adopt the crimp-first interlocking weaving process, including four weaving styles: double crimp, double intermediate crimp, single crimp and flat-top lock crimp. Crimped wires interlock without welding, keeping mesh openings intact under long-term vibration and heavy loads with smooth flat mesh surfaces. Semi-finished products can undergo secondary anti-corrosion treatments such as hot galvanizing, plastic dipping and paint spraying. Cutting, edge binding, bending, frame welding and hook stamping processing are supported.
